Patent number: 11079056Abstract: A ceramic-backed elbow featuring an extended chamber which alters the flow of fluent through the elbow section. This chamber is lined with a ceramic material and ceramic tiles. The remainder of the elbow is similarly coated with a ceramic mixture. The elbow could be placed into a coating pan upon the tiles being adhered to the elbow, and the entire elbow may be coated with an abrasive-resistant coating. A thin metal skin may then be applied over the entire surface of the coating.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2018Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventor: Todd N. Patent number: 10214928Abstract: A deployable mobile stage system including a remote mobile computing device which acts as a controller. The mobile computing device can be any basic personal computing device such as a smart phone, tablet computer, laptop, or proprietary control unit. The mobile computing device interfaces wirelessly with a receiver unit located on the mobile stage. The receiver unit relays commands to a hydraulic system which then commands various valves to open and/or close, thereby transforming the mobile stage from a first, deployed position to a second, transport position or back.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2016Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventor: Todd N. Patent number: 10186144Abstract: A deployable mobile stage system with an automatic leveling system. A remote controlling device interfaces with an internal controller of the mobile stage for transforming the stage from a transport position to a deployed position. Multiple level sensors provide feedback to the controller of the stage to automatically level the stage using jacks and outriggers hydraulically or mechanically controlled by the controller. The level sensors could be 3-axis sensors which provide level data to the CPU of the internal controller, which then forms determinations as to which jacks to raise or lower, when, and at what rate.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2016Date of Patent: January 22, 2019Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventors: Stephen T. Hinton, Todd N. Allison

Patent number: 10107441Abstract: A pipe reinforcement system for reinforcing a pipe connection, pipe section, or length of pipe. The invention is most applicable to pipe sections used in commercial, industrial, or manufacturing processes conveying abrasive materials. The pipe reinforcement system uses several interlocking tiles placed over the pipe section to produce a smooth inner surface. The edges of the tiles overlap each other, producing a leak-resistant skin. A cover which maintains air pressure within the pipe is placed over the tiles, keeping them in place and holding them against the pipe.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2015Date of Patent: October 23, 2018Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventors: Stephen T. Patent number: 9689771Abstract: A pipe section, such as a pipe elbow, coated with a ceramic coating containing a fusible link displaced within. The link includes two exposed testing leads which are connected to a sensor which sends a signal across the link. Over time, the pipe section and the coating are worn away by material flowing through the pipe. Eventually the fusible link is severed due to the wear, signaling the sensor to send an alert, notifying that the pipe section needs to be replaced. The method of manufacture includes coating a standard pipe section with a ceramic coating, displacing a fusible link therein, and curing the coating. The coating may contain any number of fusible links in any conceivable arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2014Date of Patent: June 27, 2017Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventors: Todd N. Patent number: 9650797Abstract: A mobile stage which transforms between a first, transport position and a second, deployed position. A number of modular wall panels which act as a barrier between the interior and the exterior of the stage. This barrier is weather resistant by use of weather stripping in between the panels and additionally serves to protect from unauthorized access to any contents stored inside the stage itself when in transportation mode. The wall panels may be selectively remoted and replaced by stairways and other stage components. The upper wall panels are temporarily engaged by a roof of the mobile stage.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2016Date of Patent: May 16, 2017Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventors: Richard V. Patent number: 8919286Abstract: A system and method of feeding rolled bales of hay to livestock while simultaneously storing the hay off of the ground. The hay is presented in such a way that the livestock can graze on the hay bales at will, much as they would graze in a grass field. The system of storing and offering the hay bales is modular, and may be added to or subtracted from depending upon the size of the herd of livestock. Additionally, the invention is designed to be placed along an existing fence-line for simple access to the feeding system. This allows the system to act as a simple pass-through for hay bales for feeding purposes, as opposed to requiring that bales be physically picked up and placed on a feeder for each individual feeding. A trough for water or other types of feed may also be built directly into the system.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2012Date of Patent: December 30, 2014Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventor: Jeffrey A. Patent number: 8689520Abstract: A transportable, transformable structure utilizing a tower shuttle apparatus for converting the structure from a closed, transportable unit to an open, stationary unit. The tower shuttle includes a connection post, including a socket joint, connected to a shuttle cart on casters. The socket joint is capable of receiving a ball connection at the base of a structural tower affixed to the transformable structure. This connection allows a single operator to fully assemble a mobile performance stage or other transportable, transformable structure with ease and with no damage to the stage deck. The tower shuttle allows the towers to be moved into position no matter the required direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2013Date of Patent: April 8, 2014Assignee: Progressive Products, Inc.Inventor: Todd N. Patent number: 4041788Abstract: A control system for a chain carrier-idler assembly which positions and controls the drive chain shifting from one drive sprocket to another drive sprocket of the multiple sprocket cluster of a derailleur drive rear bicycle wheel mechanism. A chain carrier-idler assembly has its inboard or outboard motion controlled by the positioning of a "floating" gear from a neutral position to an inboard-drive or outboard-drive position. A movable lever arm (driven by a DC motor) carries the floating gear, and also carries a series of electrical contacts which connect and disconnect with contacts on a baseplate parallel to the lever arm, thus to energize or de-energize the motor. Another movable contact (representative of the position of the carrier assembly and drive chain) moves across a series of spaced fixed contacts representative of the location of each sprocket gear. A power source, rocker switch, and connecting circuitry are provided to upshift or downshift the drive chain.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 1975Date of Patent: August 16, 1977Assignee: California Progressive Products, Inc.Inventor: Nathan Vivien Nininger, Jr.
