  • Patent number: 10424764
Abstract: A flexible package has a bendability effective to at least maintain the bendability of at least one flexible battery cell accommodated therein. The flexible package includes a support module disposed in a flexible body and including a first structural member, a second structural member and at least two cushioning members that define a space for accommodating the at least one flexible battery cell when the support module is under the binding force of the flexible body. When the flexible body and the at least one flexible battery cell bend, the stress acting on the at least one flexible battery cell is reduced by the first structural member, the second structural member and the at least two cushioning members. Therefore, electrode layers inside the at least one flexible battery cell are protected and the integrity, safety, cycle life and bendability of the flexible cell are improved.

Abstract: The invention discloses a composite electrode materials. The composite electrode materials of this invention includes at least one active material. The active material is coated an artificial passive film on its surface to effectively block the contact of the electrolyte and the active material to prevent unnecessary consumption of Li-ions. Also, there have a middle layer and an outer layer outside of the artificial passive film. Both of the middle layer and the outer layer are composed of the gel/liquid electrolyte and the solid electrolyte, but with different concentration ratios. Therefore, the better ion-conduction is achieved with reduced charge-transfer resistance and reduced amount of organic solvent.

  • Publication number: 20190123326
Abstract: A composite battery cell includes a plurality of electricity supply elements connected to each other in series/parallel to form the electricity supply element groups. The electricity supply element groups are connected to each other in parallel/series and packed to form the battery cell with high capacity and high voltage. Each electricity supply element is an independent module and the electrolyte system does not circulate therebetween. There only have charges transferred rather than electrochemical reactions between the adjacent electricity supply elements. Therefore, the electrolyte decomposition would not occur result from the high voltage caused by connecting in series. Both series and parallel connection are made within the package of the battery cell to achieve high capacity and high voltage.

  • Patent number: 9985283
Abstract: An active material is disclosed in the present invention. The active material includes a lithium active material and a complex shell which completely covers the lithium active material. The complex shell includes at least one protection covering and at least one structural stress covering. The protection covering is a kind of metal which may alloy with the lithium ion. The structural stress covering dose not alloy with the lithium active material. The complex shell efficiently blocks the lithium active material out of the moisture and the oxygen so that the lithium active material is able to be stored and operated in the general surroundings. The structural stress provided via the structural stress covering may keep the configuration of the active material unbroken after the repeating reactions.

  • Patent number: 9755228
Abstract: A lithium metal electrode is disclosed in this invention. The lithium metal electrode includes a lithium metal layer, a plurality of gate layers and a current collector layer having a plurality of holes. The gate layers are disposed corresponding to the holes. The lithium metal layer and the gate layers are disposed correspondingly. The lithium metal layer is insulated via the gate layers and/or the current collector layer before formation. While the gate layers are alloyed with the lithium ions from the media such as the electrolyte, the alloyed gate layers may provide the ionic access for the lithium metal layer so that the lithium metal layer may feedback the lithium ions back to the chemical system of the electricity supply system. Also, at the same time, the potentials of all the gate layers may be kept equally to the potential of the lithium metal layer.

  • Patent number: 9570728
Abstract: An electricity supply element and the ceramic separator thereof are provided. The ceramic separator is adapted to separate two electrode layers of the electricity supply element for permitting ion migration and electrical separation. The ceramic separator is made of ceramic particulates and the adhesive. The adhesive employs dual binder system, which includes linear polymer and cross-linking polymer. The adhesion and heat tolerance are enhanced by the characteristic of the two type of polymers. The respective position of the two electrode layers are maintained during high operation temperature to improve the stability, and battery performance. Also, the ceramic separator enhances the ion conductivity and reduces the possibility of the micro-short to increase practical utilization.
