Abstract: Device for sorting goods, comprising a stationary frame which is provided with guide means forming an endless path for a number of carriages supported by the guide means and movable along said path. Each carriage is provided with at least one tiltable goods carrier. The frame is provided with a closing guide rail which is placed along the path of the carriages and, viewed in the direction of movement of the carriages, is at a decreasing distance from the path of the tilting shafts of the passing carriages. The goods carrier is provided with a control element which comes into contact with the closing guide rail, for the purpose of tilting the goods carrier upwards out of the second position into the first position.
Abstract: A method for sorting goods, suspended on garment hangers, each of which is carried by a travelling releasable carrying member, circulating along a path having a series of ejection stations. Subsequent carrying members are provided with a lever capable of engagement by a tiltable trigger plate located at an ejection station for opening the carrying member and ejecting the concerning hanger and clothing. The levers are alternatively mounted at the right and at the left side of subsequent claws. Each station includes a trigger plate at the left and right side of the passing carrying members.

Abstract: Sorting apparatus for flat, stackable articles, such as CDs, micro-cassettes, video tapes or similar articles. A single article is continuously removed from a stacked stock at the bottom side of the stack, and is then coded and moved forward by pushing members of a conveyor along an horizontal path, which is inclined transverse to the direction of travel. A series of discharge stations are positioned at the lower side of said path. The code applied ensures that each article is discharged at the correct station. Characterizing features of the apparatus are:1) the slanting position of both the stock, the path of travel and the conveyor;2) the adjustable bottom construction of the stock holder in conjunction with the pushing members of the conveyor.3) the transparent first portion of the path along which the objects are moved by the conveyor with scanning means and additional printers for stickers to be applied upon the passing articles.

Abstract: Endless conveyor comprising a plurality of inter-connected conveyor units (1) spaced from each other and traveling in a mainly horizontal circuit, each unit being provided with a carrying surface (7) directed outwardly with respect to said conveying circuit. Each surface can assume two positions as a result of a tilting movement about an axis (9) lying parallel to the circuit: a virtually horizontal conveying position (B) and a downwardly inclined discharge position (A). There is a rod system (17-28) and a damping element (16) for regulation of the speed with which each surface (7) is moving by gravity from the horizontal conveying position (B) towards the discharge position (A).
