    Abstract: A present invention relates to the synergistic herbal ophthalmic composition, which delays the onset and progression of cataract. The product is suitable for prophylactic treatment of cataract of different degree. The herbs are cleaned coarsely ground, weighed as per formula and extracted using different solvents preferably water, filtered or centrifuged to collect the clear filtrate and formulated in the form of sterile ophthalmic drops, gel, ointment, cream etc for said therapeutic purpose.
