  • Patent number: 11695916
Abstract: A variety of device interfaces may be connected to a test platform in a fast and efficient manner using multi-pin cables and connectors to support high-volume processing of devices to be tested. The multi-pin cables and connectors may aggregate a plurality of specific device interfaces into a single cable that can be connected via a connector to a test shelf and via a connector to a test platform, reducing the time to setup for device testing and facilitating high-volume processing of devices to be tested.

  • Patent number: 11595290
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to network diagnostics, and more specifically to techniques for determining the health of customer premises equipment (CPE) devices. In certain examples, a scoring system can determine a health score for a CPE device, the health score indicating the health of the CPE device. The health score is determined by receiving, analyzing, and integrating information from different sources, including sources in addition to CPE diagnostic data for the CPE device at the current time. Such sources can include CPE diagnostic data for the CPE device at other times, CPE diagnostic data for other CPE devices related to the CPE device (e.g., in the same household or surrounding area as the CPE device), technical specifications of the CPE device (e.g., make, model and firmware of the CPE device), or per-equalization parameters obtained by the CPE device.

  • Patent number: 11070992
Abstract: Wireless consumer premises equipment (CPE) devices are provisioned with their wireless functionality disabled. Selected wireless CPE devices have their wireless functionality turned on, and testing of the selected wireless devices, including testing of their wireless functionality, is performed. After testing has been completed, the selected wireless devices are placed in a predetermined default operational profile suitable for subsequent end consumer deployment. A wireless interference and wireless channel saturation minimization action is performed in relation to the selected wireless devices so that their wireless functionality does not affect subsequent testing of the wireless functionality of other wireless CPE devices.

  • Patent number: 10931557
Abstract: A system includes a customer premises equipment (CPE) testing platform, a CPE testing rack, enclosures, and wireless components. The CPE testing rack is communicatively connected to the CPE testing platform and receptive to communication with wireless CPE devices. The enclosures are communicatively connected to the CPE testing rack. Each enclosure has wireless shielding to reduce outside wireless interference from entering the enclosure and to reduce wireless signals within the enclosure from exiting the enclosure. Each enclosure is receptive to installation therein a corresponding wireless CPE device. The wireless components are communicatively connected to the CPE testing platform. Each wireless component is mounted within a corresponding enclosure to wirelessly communicate with the corresponding wireless CPE device installed within the corresponding enclosure.
