  • Patent number: 9051824
Abstract: A well completion system for monitoring multiple annuluses in a well, including an “A” annulus (between the production tubing and production casing) and a “B” annulus (between the production casing and intermediate casing). The system includes a tubing hanger suspension assembly that seals and separates an upper area of the production annulus. Port(s) in the production casing above the seal provide access between the “B” annulus and the separated area. The system also includes a moveable sleeve that allows fluid communication through the port(s) when in an open position, but not in a closed position. The tubing hanger suspension assembly includes means for moving the sleeve from the closed position to the open position. In addition, the tubing hanger housing includes “A” and “B” annulus passageways in communication with the production annulus and the separated area, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20150115536
Abstract: A key seal preferably includes a first circular seal portion, a second rounded seal portion and a third rounded seal portion. The first circular seal portion preferably has generally circular cross-section. The second rounded seal portion preferably has a bottom side which is connected to the first seal portion, and has a cross-section which is smaller than that of the first circular seal portion. The third rounded seal portion preferably has a top side which is connected to the first seal portion, and has a cross-section which is smaller than that of the first circular seal portion. The first, second and third seal portions may be integrally formed. They key seal may be installed in a hydroseal assembly around the pin section of a hydroseal, and between a seal and a block section of the hydroseal.

  • Patent number: 8631873
Abstract: A tubing hanger body made from Non-CRA steel coupled to production tubing made from CRA material. The coupling includes pin threads at the top end of the production tubing which are arranged to be screwed into box threads of the tubing hanger body. A seal sub having metal-to-metal and/or elastomeric seals engages the top end of the production tubing and protects the tubing hanger body from contact with production fluid flowing from the production tubing below to a Christmas tree tubing above. The invention includes a method of repairing of an existing tubing hanger body where its through bore has been damaged. This allows the through bore to be over machined and a CRA sleeve installed to replace tubing threads and body material.
