    Abstract: A food processing apparatus for processing food products includes a press, a control unit and an first analyzing device. The press presses the food products with specific pressing parameters. The control unit is connected to an output side of the press and sets the pressing parameters. The first analyzing device scans the food products before pressing and generates corresponding first analysis parameters of the food products which reflect product properties of the examined food product. The control unit is connected on an input side of the first analyzing device and records the first analysis parameters and sets the pressing parameters as a function of the first analysis parameters.

    Abstract: A method for formatting food products on a conveyor device includes a) receiving the food products in a plurality of parallel conveyor tracks, some of which include product gaps; b) outputting the food products into the parallel conveyor tracks in a specific product format; c) detecting the product supply in the conveyor tracks incoming on the input side individually for each of the conveyor tracks; and d) filling the product gaps in the conveyor tracks with food products, so that on the output side all of the parallel conveyor tracks are supplied with the food products. The product gaps are also filled with food products from a product buffer in that at least one of the food products is transferred from the product buffer to the conveyor track only when an odd number of product gaps exist in one of the conveyor tracks.

A rigid linkage member couples the body portion of each lower latch. Urging in a first direction at any point along linkage member causes each lower hook to simultaneously disengage from the upper hook to unlock the cover. The pivot point is arranged such that the weight of the body portion and the linkage member cause the lower hooks to be urged against the upper hooks to lock the cover to the container, in the absence of a force applied to the linkage member in the first direction.
