Abstract: A vibration transducer for measuring vibrations and shocks, especially vibrations which occur during the operation of machines and mechanical equipment. The induction vibration transducer comprises a permanent magnet movably mounted with respect to at least one induction coil. The movable magnet is provided in the axial cavity of a bushing having disc-like permanent magnets at its opposite ends, the movable magnet being repelled by the fixed permanent magnets. Around the bushing between the axially inner pole pieces of the fixed permanent magnets and the ends of the movable permanent magnet there are pseudobifilar wound induction coils. One or both of the confronting surfaces of the bushing and the movable permanent magnet is provided with an anti-friction covering or coating. The vibration transducer of the invention has relatively small dimensions, withstands moderately high temperature, and is virtually unaffected by temperature changes.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tube bending device, especially for thin walled tubes made from austenitic materials, e.g., for power engineering. The device consists of a pressure truck, adjustable gear, inductor heating coil, cooling section and a bending arm. The tube to be bent is positioned with one end on the pressure truck, and the second end fixed to the bending arm, and is freely placed in the inductor gear and axially moved in the inductor gear on guide rollers of an adjustable gear.

Abstract: An apparatus for continuously monitoring clearances between a moving and a stationary machine part, utilizing compressible fluid flow. A measuring nozzle is disposed in the clearance space, and a conduit connects said nozzle with a space having a compressible fluid pressure different from the pressure in the clearance space. A measuring orifice is disposed along the conduit path. First and second comparison nozzles are situated in a pressure chamber and coupled through conduits to the same pressure space as that to which the conduit of the measuring nozzle is coupled. Measuring orifices are also situated in the conduits coupled to the comparison nozzles. Differential pressure meters are coupled between the conduit of the measuring nozzle and a conduit of one of the comparison nozzles; and between the conduits of the two comparison nozzles.

Abstract: A device for slipping a tube on the mandrel of a bending machine includes a support upon which a pair of slides are slidably mounted for movement in a direction parallel to the axis of the mandrel. A double arm lever is pivotally mounted to each slide, about axes parallel to the axis of the mandrel and a cylinder is mounted between the first ends of the levers. Gripping jaws are removably mounted to holders rotatably connected to the other ends of the levers, the gripping jaws being adapted to clamp a tube to be bent therebetween on opposite sides of the mandrel. A further cylinder is provided for moving the slides in a direction parallel to the axis of the mandrel.
