Patents Assigned to Prysmian Cables y Sistemas, S.L.
  • Patent number: 8669474
Abstract: A power cable includes at least two power conductors, at least one earth conductor, and a tubular outer jacket surrounding the power conductors and earth conductor. Each power conductor may comprise a conductive core and an insulating layer surrounding said conductive core. The power conductors may be twisted and contact each other. The earth conductor may have a diameter smaller than the power conductors and may be positioned in the interstitial area between two adjacent power conductors and the outer jacket. The earth conductor may contact the two power conductors along two respective contact lines and the outer jacket along an extrados portion facing outward with respect to the cable. The outer jacket may have substantially constant thickness. The lateral surfaces of the earth conductor may be free from constraints between the contact lines with the power conductors and the extrados contacted by the outer jacket.

  • Patent number: 8244087
Abstract: A hybrid cable includes a plurality of conductor wires, at least one optical fiber unit and an insulation jacket surrounding the electrical conductors and the optical fiber unit. The at least one optical fiber unit is dispersed in a number of the electrical conductors which is at least 12 times the number of the optical fiber units, the diameter of the optical fiber unit being substantially equal to or greater than the diameter of the electrical conductors.

  • Patent number: 7352936
Abstract: An optical aerial line has an optical cable extending parallel to an aerial electrical conductor and lashed to the electrical conductor by means of securing elements, wherein the securing elements have at least two binders helically wound onto the electrical conductor and the optical cable, and wherein the number of said binders, the tension of application of said binders, and the lashing pitch are selected so as to have a binding force of at least 5 kg/m, so as to avoid lateral displacements of the optical cable.
