    Abstract: In a rectilinear motion driving apparatus, a shaft is fitted into a cylindrical body in a coaxial state, and a plurality of cylindrical coil rollers are interposed between the cylindrical body and the shaft by press fit so as to roll at a predetermined inclined angle to the axial direction. These cylindrical coil rollers are contacted with an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body with a pressure contact force, and the cylindrical body or the shaft is rotated so that the shaft or the cylindrical body makes a rectilinear motion toward an axial direction. A pressure contact force of both inner and outer surfaces of the cylindrical coil roller to the cylindrical body and the shaft is set either higher or lower in the vicinity of the end portion thereof than the intermediate portion of the cylindrical body.

    Abstract: In a brake device of a linear moving body, a brake member is provided with a hole and a rod is fitted to the hole in clearance fit, and the brake member is moved slantwise and rotational moment is produced in the brake member thereby brake is applied to the rod in relative motion. The brake member is arranged movable slantwise using position as fulcrum remote from the axial center of the rod, and notched portions having width smaller than diameter of the hole are formed at symmetric positions within the hole along a plane including the fulcrum and the axial center of the rod. In this brake device, rotational force (rotational moment) is supplied to the brake member, and drag is produced at a fitting surface within the hole and frictional force due to the drag is made brake force and frictional force due to the drag of the fitting surface is made reaction force of the rotational force.

    Abstract: This rodless cylinder is a rodless cylinder of pneumatic driving slit type, and a cyliner tube is provied with a curved part bent in the axial direction, and a slit of nearly trapezoidal section is formed along the longituinal direction of the inner circumferential side of the curve, and a seal belt with both ends fixed within the cylinder tube is arranged to be fitted to the slit and a piston is inserted within the cylinder. The piston has a piston body and seal pistons connected rockable to both sides of the piston body, and the piston body is provied with a connecting part projecting from the slit to the outside and a belt inserting hole for insertion of the seal belt. On an outer circumferential part of the piston body and the seal pistons, an annular groove with a bottom being a part of a spherical surface is formed and a wear ring having an inner circumferential surface with the same curved surface is inserted slantwise within the annular groove.

    Abstract: Herein disclosed is a cylinder locking device for locking and stopping the piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder in a desired position. There are fitted rotatably in a housing, a pair of thick, semicylindrical halves which are formed by dividing a thick cylinder having eccentric outer and inner circumferential portions axially into two halves at the thickest and thinnest portions. The piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder is inserted slidably into the inner circumferential portions of the two semicylindrical halves. The piston rod is locked in the desired position by turning the two semicylindrical halves in the opposite directions through a pair of leaves which are attached to the two halves.
