    Abstract: This invention relates to an improved magnetic field induction therapy device and an improved method of treatment using magnetic field induction therapy. The method and device utilise pulsed alternating magnetic fields of specific characteristics which have been found to be, at least, therapeutic, In particular, the present invention relates to a device and method for creating varied and programmable magnetic fields, especially in a hand held unit for medical or therapeutic applications. The therapeutic value of magnetic fields has been known for more than two thousand years. Permanent magnets placed on or adjacent an animal or human body have been used for pain relief and blood circulation improvement. It is also known to use pulsating magnetic fields for medical and therapeutic purposes. For over 40 years the use of electro-magnetic fields has been known to be more beneficial than static or permanent magnetic fields.
