Abstract: A wound treatment arrangement for the debriding and cleansing of a patient's body portion comprising: a flexible elongated body portion enclosure bag; an elongated nozzle arrangement securable to the inner surface of the elongated enclosure bag; a pressurized fluid treatment supply gun; and a connectable and releasable coupler member arranged on the proximal end of the nozzle arrangement so as to sealably receive a corresponding coupler arrangement on the fluid treatment supply gun.
Abstract: A containment arrangement for safely and effectively treating a wound on a patient without contaminating attending personnel. The arrangement comprises a patient receiving first enclosure having a patient contacting periphery, a pressurizable source in communication with the patient through a wall of the enclosure for enlarging the enclosure, and a sealing means arranged in the patient contacting periphery. A hand manipulable fluid discharge nozzle is extendably arranged through the enclosure for providing controllable treatment fluid to the wound on the patient within the enclosure.
Abstract: The present invention is a wound treatment kit assembly for the washing, cleansing, medicinal treatment and maintenance of a wound side on the limb or torso of a patient. The kit has a plurality of flexible body component-treating bag-like envelopes, attachable to a body component; a hand manipulable fluid delivery gun; a plurality of wand-like conduits having a first end for connective attachment to the fluid delivery gun and a second end for entry into the bag-like envelope; a fluid reservoir; and a plurality of flexible delivery conduits for conducting fluid from the reservoir to the hand manipulable gun when bag-like envelope is secured to a component of a patient and the gun is in fluid communication with the bag-like envelope.
