    Abstract: An ultraviolet lamp for use in a water purifier has two pairs of terminal pins mounted on, and extending outwardly along a longitudinal axis of, one of the end caps of an arc tube. The pairs of pins are offset relative to each other along the longitudinal axis to resist electrical arcing between the pairs of pins exteriorly of the arc tube. An internal barrier wall resists electrical arcing within the one end cap.
