    Abstract: The temperature sensor has a sheath with a closed end within a structure traversed by the primary coolant of high pressurized water reactor and frustoconically tapered at this end to close fittingly engage the frustoconical tip of the sensor. The latter can be of the platinum wire type whose resistance measurement represents the temperature.
