Abstract: The invention relates to a simple, reproducible, fast, and accurate method of quantifying and measuring telomeres in a clinical sample. The invention further relates to kits comprising premixed and optimized buffers, DNA polymerase, primers, and instructions for the detection of telomere length and quantities. Also envisioned are complete kits further including instrumentalities for the detection of telomere length and quantities.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for molecular and macromolecular crystallization. More particularly, the device comprises a well and a transparent cap for growing diffraction-quality protein crystals by conventional vapor diffusion techniques. The present device is particularly advantageous in that it allows the pre-filling of the well with a solution for transport and handling.
