  • Patent number: 12413473
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method for discovering an entity communicating using a network communication protocol. A scanning system of a system transmits, at a plurality of communication ports, a message using the network communication protocol to elicit a response from an entity accessing one of the communication ports. The transmitting includes emulating a portion of the network communication protocol. The scanning system receives a response to the message from the entity accessing one of the communication ports. The scanning system determines the entity is an entity of interest by determining that the response is provided using the network communication protocol and is responsive to the message. Responsive to determining that the entity is an entity of interest, the entity is added to a group of entities of interest.

  • Patent number: 12405806
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method for distributed and parallel processing of data within a data processing platform. The platform receives the data to be processed by the data processing platform. The data processing platform includes a plurality of processing components. The plurality of processing components ingest the data. At least two of the plurality of processing components ingest the data simultaneously. At each of a subset of the plurality of processing components an output is generated from the data by processing the data. Each output includes an identifier indicating the output corresponds to the data. A downstream component receives the output from each of the at least a subset of the plurality of processing components.

  • Patent number: 12373416
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method for identifying and storing relationships between source data and derivative data. A data relationship identification system identifies derivative data generated from source data. When the derivative data is generated, an identification of the source data corresponding to the derivative data is added to the derivative data. The data relationship identification system accesses the identification of the source data and associates the derivative data with the source data based upon the identification. The association of the derivative data with the source data is stored within a data store of the data relationship identification system.
