Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an animal protein- and/or soy protein-containing foam. Since the methods known from the prior art merely use protein as an additive, the invention proposes producing a protein foam in that a homogeneous polymer based on an animal protein and/or soy protein is foamed to form a foam by means of mechanical stress or by the addition of a catalyst or a gas.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a milk protein hydrol gel, in which at least one protein which is obtained from milk and which can be thermally plasticized, is plasticized using a plasticizing agent, such as for example, water or glycerol at temperatures between room temperature and preferably up to 140° C. by means of mechanical stress and subsequently retreated according to a continuous or discontinuous process to form hydrogels.
Abstract: Milk protein fibers are produced by an extrusion process for the textile industry inter alia, in which at least one thermoplasticizable protein obtained from milk is plasticized with a plasticizer, for example water or glycerol, at temperatures between room temperature and 140° C., under mechanical stress and spun to fibers by means of a jet.
