  • Patent number: 11128270
Abstract: A class-D amplifier with multiple “nested” levels of feedback. The class-D amplifier surrounds an inner feedback loop, which takes the output of a switching amplifier and corrects for errors generated across the switching amplifier, with additional feedback loops that also take the output of the switching amplifier.

  • Patent number: 11063565
Abstract: An amplifier having one or more channels where each channel includes a two half bridges (a master and slave sub-channel). The sub-channels can be connected either in parallel or in a full-bridge configuration via internal switches that route signals to a pair of speaker jacks. One switch in the amplifier has a first position that selectively connects the outputs of the master and slave sub-channel to the same input of the speaker load so that the two sub-channels will drive the speaker load in parallel and a second position where the output of the slave sub-channel is connected to another input of the speaker load so that the master sub-channel and the slave sub-channel will drive the speaker load in a Full-bridge configuration.

  • Patent number: 10848858
Abstract: A waveguide housing for a speaker assembly. The speaker assembly includes first and second drivers coupled to the waveguide housing where the first driver generates a midrange sound signal and the second driver emits a high-frequency sound signal. The waveguide housing includes a first plurality of sound channels configured to receive the midrange sound signal from the first driver such that the midrange sound signal travels through the first plurality of sound channels and is emitted from the waveguide housing by a first plurality of openings in the waveguide housing. The waveguide housing also includes a second plurality of sound channels configured to receive the high-frequency sound signal from the second driver such that the high-frequency sound signal travels through the second plurality of sound channels and is emitted from the waveguide housing by a second plurality of openings in the waveguide housing.

  • Patent number: 10791229
Abstract: Described are techniques for video bridging for conversion of IP network video streams to the USB Video Class (UVC). The conversion of IP video to UVC video can include the use of software-only conversions and hardware assisted conversions, and can be done within purpose-built “conversion” devices or as software only solutions operating within applications or drivers within the operating systems of the “end nodes”. The end-nodes simultaneously see and use multiple USB UVC video sources. The conversion process can also convert the USB UVC video control protocol to IP Video Stream control protocols.

  • Patent number: 10749488
Abstract: A multi-channel switchmode audio amplifier is configured by a programmed processor such that each channel drives separate loads, is connected in parallel or is configured in a bridge-tied mode as well as combinations thereof. In one embodiment, amplifier channels that are connected in parallel have power amplifiers that are driven with signals from a single modulator. A feedback circuit and error amplifier from one channel controls the modulated signal that is applied to each parallely connected amplifier channel. Current feedback circuits for parallely connected amplifier channels are eliminated by tightly controlling the timing of switching in the power amplifier output stages.

  • Patent number: 10291985
Abstract: An audio processor has a number of ports that are configurable as input or output ports. Each port includes a jack, an input audio circuit and an output audio circuit. A switch is controllable to selectively connect an output of the output audio circuit to the jack when the port is configured as an output port. In one embodiment, the switch is bypassed with resistor and the output of the output audio circuit is coupled through the resistor to the jack when the port is configured as an input port.
