Patent number: 11880452Abstract: A system manages resources based on a hardware transactional memory unit. The system stores a system profile map comprising system profiles of applications. The system profile of an application stores information describing system resource utilization of the application. If a request for resources for executing a new application is received, a hardware transactional memory unit determines an amount of memory to be allocated for executing the new application and allocates memory partitions for executing the new application. The system profile of the new application is compared with system profiles in the system profile map. If there are any indicators of compromise representing potential compromise of the new application the request for resources for the new application is denied. The system generates and uses true random numbers.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2023Date of Patent: January 23, 2024Assignee: B QT TechnologiesInventor: Dipnarayan Guha

Patent number: 10173884Abstract: A fueling data collection unit associated with a fuel transfer apparatus and for use with a system for managing fueling transactions of a fleet operator using fuel transfer apparatuses at one or more locations includes a fueling data interface module and a temperature compensation module. The temperature compensation module compensates for a volume variance of the fuel as a result of temperature variance from the standard temperature data to determine a volume correction factor at the measured fuel temperature, while the temperature compensation module uses the measured fuel temperature to determine a compensated, more accurate volume and/or mass of fuel dispensed through the fuel meter. In this way, the fuel data collection unit can accurately measure the volume and/or mass of fuel being delivered. This allows the provider and the recipient to more accurately sell/buy what was actually delivered and can avoid over-filling a fueling order.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 2015Date of Patent: January 8, 2019Assignee: QT TECHNOLOGIESInventors: Gerasimos A. Patent number: 9041548Abstract: A battery-powered fueling data collection unit for use with a meter and a register associated with a fuel transfer apparatus and for use with a system for managing fueling transactions of a fleet operator using fuel transfer apparatuses at multiple locations includes a fueling data interface module for receiving fueling information from the fueling meter and/or register and an internal battery power source. A processor is provided for monitoring the power level in the battery and for detecting if the power level in the battery drops below a threshold amount. Also, a communications module is provided for wirelessly forwarding an alert to a remote computer to alert the remote computer that the battery power is low.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2011Date of Patent: May 26, 2015Assignee: QT TECHNOLOGIESInventors: Gerasimos A. Patent number: 8666586Abstract: An enterprise fuel management system for managing fueling operations of an aircraft fleet operated by a fleet operator having a central computer system at a data center and operating aircraft at multiple airports avoids reliability problems associated with synchronizing a central database with local databases. Data collection units communicate collected fueling information wirelessly to a central data center, and the data collection units are not in direct communication with the fleet operator's central computer system. Moreover, the central data center gathers fueling information from the various data collection units and communicates the gathered fueling information to the fleet operator's central computer system as data messages for subsequent processing and action.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2011Date of Patent: March 4, 2014Assignee: QT TechnologiesInventors: Gerasimos A.
