Abstract: A source device in a wireless display (WD) system stores a plurality of preconfigured formats. Each of the preconfigured formats is associated with a different type of human input device (HID). The source device receives one or more Internet Protocol (IP) packets from a sink device in the WD system. The one or more IP packets include a HID command (HIDC) input report. The source device identifies, based on data in the one or more IP packets, one of the preconfigured formats and parses the HIDC input report based on the identified preconfigured format in order to determine a user input. The source device then generates media data in response to the user input and sends the media data to the sink device.

Abstract: One aspect of the disclosure provides a method for wireless communication by a station or wireless device. The method includes waking from a sleep state. Further, the method includes determining an availability of a transmission medium. In addition, in response to determining that the transmission medium is not available, the method can include determining a sleep time period, entering a second sleep state based on the sleep time period, and freezing a backoff counter for the duration of the second sleep state.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for determining whether to deactivate one or more uplink carriers based at least in part on determining deactivation of a downlink carrier. A linking of the one or more uplink carriers to the downlink carrier can be obtained for determining whether to deactivate the one or more uplink carriers. The linking can be a system information block linking, a carrier indicator field linking, a pathloss linking, an uplink timing reference linking, and/or the like. The one or more uplink carriers can be deactivated based on the linking and/or another linking to one or more other downlink carriers.

Abstract: Methods of generating multicast flow identifiers are provided. In an example, a multicast flow identifier (e.g., a broadcast multicast service (BCMCS) flow identifier (ID)) is generated, with the multicast flow identifier including a portion of a multicast Internet Protocol (IP) address and a portion of a port designation number, the multicast IP address and port designation number collectively designating a given multicast group.
