  • Patent number: 8711564
Abstract: A system of motherboard, socket and convective cooling cells is providing cooling of both sides—top and bottom—of an integrated circuit, which keeps the temperature deviation inside circuit up to 4 times lower and is up to 4 times more efficient than at the cooling of the same circuit from only one of its side.

  • Patent number: 8613586
Abstract: A vortical energy wind apparatus translates wind gusts to vertical air streams that disrupt the streams of air in the atmosphere that pose high tornado-risks. The apparatus comprises a lower half-spheroid part and an upper half-spheroid part both placed by their convexities to each other. A toroidal-shaped axial-symmetric core has a set of curved blades attached to the core. Streams of air penetrate a rotary wheel inside it, and the blades attached to the core rotate the wheel. Essentially, the upper part acts like an upside-down wing at streamlining the wind and an exit hole centered at a top of the upper part provides means for the vortical stream of air to leave the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8496048
Abstract: A convective cooling cell is providing the vortical boiling regime of flow of coolant inside of it that allows exploiting important advantages of the vortical boiling phenomenon: highest coefficient of the heat transfer at very small increase of the hydro-resistance, unchangeable or even increasing performance (thermo-resistance) at increase of the coolant's discharge, and anti-adhesive action of stream inside the cooling cell. The cell comprises a heat intake box, inlet-diffuser channel and outlet-confuser channel with couplers on their ends for convenient connection with the external coolant supplying system. The dense triangular lattice of non-potential segmental spherical dimples on the top and bottom inner sides of the heat intake box provides self-generation of a coherent system of vortical tubes of coolant that effectively are sucking heat from the heat-generating body that is in reliable thermal contact with external surface of the attached wall of said heat intake box.

The triangular lattice of hemi-spherical dimples on the top and bottom sides of cell provides generation of coherent system of vortical tubes that effectively sucks heat from the dimple into the core of the coolant's stream. Essentially, the cell allows many technologies of manufacturing: milling, stamping, melting, and/or their combinations.
