Abstract: An exhaust filter for insertion into an exhaust port of a liquid bath vacuum cleaner has an elongated, tubular inlet secured to a lower housing, which lower housing is secured within an upper housing. The upper end of the tubular inlet extends into the upper housing and is provided with a flat top portion and a series of openings between angled vanes so as to direct air flow entering the tubular inlet evenly around the circumference of the angle vanes and through a HEPA filter sealingly secured between the lower and upper housings. Air flows through the HEPA air filter and out slotted openings in opposed ends of the exhaust filter. The flow of air at one end passes by a rotary blade having an indicator element thereon, which indicates the condition of the HEPA filter, and when the exhaust filter must be replaced.

Abstract: An all plastic one piece blow molded pressure vessel and sprayer combination shows a bottom closure with upwardly inclined feet. Internal pressure causes the upward and inward portion of the feet to descend such that the feet remain in good contact with a planar surface on which the vessel is resting, such that the bottom does not become bulged outwardly and rock.

Abstract: A high-pressure container, and a method and apparatus for making the same, is disclosed having a top portion defined as an injection molded portion. The injection molded portion is provided with rings which are fused to the other portion to provide a strong mechanical interlock therebetween. The top portion is pre-fabricated and then the second portion is blow molded around the top portion.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing hollow plastic articles are disclosed. The articles have a blow-molded portion and a compression-molded portion, and are formed by downwardly extruding plastic at at least one extrusion rate to progressively form a parison having a downwardly facing open end from a first location adjacent an extrusion head toward a second location axially spaced therefrom. A male mold member is provided at the second location. Portions of the open end of the parison are engaged by a plurality of fingers, while the open end travels toward the second location and the engaged portions are moved downwardly at a rate at least corresponding to the extrusion rate. During the travel toward the second location, portions of the open end are radially expanded and guided over the male mold member.

Abstract: A plastic drum comprising a bottom portion, a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom portion, and a top portion closing the upper end of the side wall. The top portion has an elongated channel formed therein which extends completely thereacross. A support means is secured to the top portion and extends over the channel. The channel is uninterrupted with protuberances to permit a tine means of a lifting apparatus to be inserted therein below the support means so that the lifting apparatus may transport the drum. A pair of pouring spouts are provided on opposite sides of the channel outwardly of the support means.
