Abstract: The invention concerns the equipment for forming of paper containers starting from a continuous wet paper belt. It comprises a mobile semi-mold and a fixed semi-mold defining an impression corresponding to the container to be produced. Around the mobile semi-mold (15) are provided concentrically an upper cutting blade (18), an upper pleating/crimping ring (19) and an upper rim former (20); around the fixed semi-mold (14) are provided a counter cutting blade (21), an upper counter pleating/crimping ring (22) and a counter rim former (23), associated respectively with the cutting blade, the pleating/crimping ring and rim former on board associated with a mobile semi-mold.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for molding food-grade containers from a strip of paper material is provided. The apparatus includes a stationary die-holder plate, and a die-holder plate which is movable with respect to it between an opened position and a closed position. The stationary die-holder plate includes a respective stationary die half and the movable die-holder plate include a respective mobile die half. In the closed position, the die halves cooperate to define an impression corresponding to a container provided with a bottom, a side wall, and a substantially flat perimeter portion cantileverly extending from the side wall. A curling member, a permanent pleating member and a cutting blade are concentrically provided around the mobile die half and sequentially arranged from the inside to the outside thereof. Similarly, a counter curling member, a counter permanent pleating member and a counter cutting blade are concentrically arranged around the stationary die half.

Abstract: This invention concerns a press and a method in particular for the forming of finished articles, such as containers or trays of paper and starting from a moisturized sheet. The press comprises a bedplate (18) having a fixed die holder plane (19) holding a head (20) with a moving die-holder plane (21) movable with regards to the fixed plane between an opening and a closing position. A lower die (22) is attached to the fixed die holder plane, whereas an upper die (23) is attached to the moving die-holder plane. The moving die-holder plane is powered by an electric actuator (29) for the opening and closing movements and the half-dies are provided with heating means for the drying and hardening of the paper in a set closed position. The moving die-holder plane can be slowed down or stopped during its stroke to allow for the drying of the paper.
