Abstract: A system includes one or more data processors. The system further includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving a stream of in-phase components and quadrature phase components as IQ data. The IQ data indicates which subcarriers each of the IQ data is to be sent. The operations further include determining a maximum absolute value associated with the IQ data, determining a constellation measure of a largest bounding box covering all subcarriers of the IQ data, and compressing the IQ data to obtain compressed IQ data based on the maximum absolute value and the constellation measure.

Abstract: A system and method for management of heterogeneous bare metal servers is disclosed. The system includes target bare metal servers coupled to a network and an administrative server. The administrative server executes a framework for managing the bare metal servers. The framework includes unified APIs for performance of management functions. A recognition engine receives identification information from the server and selects a driver from a driver library based on the identification information. Each of the drivers in the driver library is associated with a different type of bare metal server. A driver loader loads the selected driver to translate the unified APIs to native APIs on the bare metal server to perform the management function on the server.

Abstract: A system includes one or more data processors configured to run a basic input/output system (BIOS) service and a bootloader configuration manager for tuning kernel parameters. The system further includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed on the one or more data processors, cause the one or more data processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving administrative inputs and checking the administrative inputs against a checklist to determine whether any errors are introduced by the administrative inputs. The operations further include writing the administrative inputs to a temporal configuration file in response to no errors being introduced by the administrative inputs. The operations further include exporting the temporal configuration file to a designated output path. The exported temporal configuration file includes kernel parameter settings for configuring a bootloader of a computing device.

Abstract: A system and method for providing operating system (OS) installation images in a computer system including a deployment server and a target computer device such as a target server. The deployment server executes a bundle builder that receives a configuration file for a system layer, a kernel layer, and an application layer. Files are collected according to the configuration file. Packages for a system layer, a kernel layer, and an application layer are assembled in a combined OS installation image. The combined OS installation image is sent to the target server.

Abstract: A system and method for maximizing bandwidth in an uplink for a 5G communication system is disclosed. Multiple end devices generate image streams. A gateway is coupled to the end devices. The gateway includes a gateway monitor agent collecting utilization rate data of the gateway and an image inspector collecting inspection data from the received image streams. An edge server is coupled to the gateway. The edge server includes an edge server monitor agent collecting utilization rate data of the edge server. An analytics manager is coupled to the gateway and the edge server. The analytics manager is configured to determine an allocation strategy based on the collected utilization rate data from the gateway and the edge server.

Abstract: A system and method for providing commodity firmware packages for updating firmware in a network of servers is disclosed. A deployment server executes an update framework to provide firmware to target servers. A target server includes different hardware components and a baseboard management controller. Each of the hardware components have an associated firmware image. A management network connects the deployment server and the target server. A data network connects the deployment server and the target server. The deployment server sends a bootable disk image via virtual media redirection through the management network. The deployment server sends an upgrade framework to upload at least one firmware image associated with one of the hardware components through the data network to the remote server.

Abstract: A plug-and-play solution deployment mechanism and infrastructure to automate deployment of network cluster devices is disclosed. The solution includes an agile hardware topology discovery mechanism to automatically map the hardware of the cluster devices. The solution includes an intelligent engine for recognition of BIOS configuration setting and BIOS configuration of the devices. The solution also includes a demand-driven Cloud architecture design engine to design and test a cloud architecture incorporating the cluster devices.
