  • Publication number: 20130117461
Abstract: Connection establishing management methods for traversing network address translation (NAT) routers and firewalls between network terminal devices to establish a connection channel therebetween for use in a network system including at least first, second and third network terminal devices and a traversal server are disclosed. First, when traversal server receives a call request of first and second network terminal devices, network topology levels of first and second network terminal devices are detected to detect whether first and second network terminal devices are located behind NAT router and/or firewall. Then, one of first and second network terminal devices or third network terminal device is selected according to the detection result such that selected network terminal device acted as proxy server for the traversal server to establish a connection channel corresponding to call request between first and second network terminal devices.

  • Patent number: 8428911
Abstract: A testing method for carrying out an accuracy testing operation on a system time signal of a computer device under test includes the following steps. First, first and second clock cycle parameters of an operation clock signal (CPU clock) are respectively recorded in response to first and second triggering edges triggered by an external reference time signal. Next, a reference clock cycle parameter is determined according to the first and second clock cycle parameters. Then, third and fourth clock cycle parameters of the operation clock signal are respectively recorded in response to third and fourth triggering edges triggered by the system time signal. Next, a to-be-measured clock cycle parameter is obtained according to the third and fourth clock cycle parameters. Thereafter, error information of the system time signal is obtained according to the to-be-measured clock cycle parameter and the reference clock cycle parameter.

  • Patent number: 8423830
Abstract: A debug method for computer system is disclosed. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, a first index is increased. Next, a first debug data to a jth debug data are received via a debug port of controller. Then, the first debug data to the jth debug data are sequentially stored to a first memory block of a storage unit of the controller according to the second index of controller. Afterwards, the (i+1)th debug data to the jth debug data are copied to the second memory block from the first memory block according to the increased first index before a controller's power supply is removed or the computer system enters a sleep state. Lastly, an application is implemented so that the second memory block is read according to the first index; wherein, i and j are integers.
