    Abstract: An electronic device includes an upper cover and a main body. A sliding assembly is disposed between the upper cover and the main body and includes a sliding portion, a spring, and a track with a first positioning portion disposed at the center of a side of the track and two second positionings portion disposed on two ends of the side of the track. The spring including an engaging portion and two ends, and the sliding portion are fixed on the cover. The engaging portion and the ends form an included angle. The sliding portion is movably connected to the track and slides thereon. When the sliding portion slides on the track, the engaging portion is engaged with one of the first positioning portion and the second positioning portions.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a high definition video conference system comprising a plurality of transmitting terminals and a receiving terminal. Each transmitting terminal comprises a digital imaging/processing apparatus and a first data processing apparatus. The receiving terminal comprises a second data processing apparatus and at least one display apparatus. The digital imaging/processing apparatus is used for capturing an image of a participant and for compressing the captured image into a high definition image. According to a standard communication protocol, the first data processing apparatus converts the high definition image into a standard-format communication image and then transmits the standard-format communication image. The second data processing apparatus is used for receiving and decoding the standard-format image transmitted from each transmitting terminal into the high definition image. Accordingly, the high definition can be displayed on the display apparatus.

    Abstract: A signal transmission cable including a conductive tape, a number of grounding conductive wires, a number of insulation wires in the first layer and a number of insulation wires in the second layer. The insulation wires in the first layer are used for transmitting a voltage signal, and the insulation wires in the second layer are used for transmitting a power set. The insulation wires in the first layer are paired and arranged on the conductive tape at an equal distance. The grounding conductive wires are embedded between the signal wire pairs for stabilizing the impedance. The insulation wires in the first layer and the insulation wires in the second layer are separated by a conductive tape for destructing the noise coupling effects between the layers. Lastly, the conductive tape covers the first layer and the second layer for impedance control and containing signal energy in the cable.

    Abstract: A touch device to sense and compute the coordinate of a touch object is provided. The touch device comprises a panel, a light-emitting element, an image sensor, a reflective strip and a processing unit. The panel has a sensing area surrounded by first to fourth boundaries where the first and the third boundaries define an x direction and the other two boundaries defines y direction. The light-emitting element and the image sensor are located on the first boundary with a specific distance therebetween. The reflective strip is located on the second to fourth boundaries. When the touch object touches the sensing area, a first and a second light path from the light-emitting element to the image sensor are blocked to form a real and a virtual image such that the processing unit computes the coordinate of the touch object according to the real and the virtual images. A touch method is disclosed herein as well.
