    Abstract: A collision warning device including a receiver for receiving a low power radio frequency signal from a nearby radio frequency signal source. A processor can be electrically coupled to the receiver and configured to analyze the radio frequency signal for determining whether the signal is from a source capable of colliding with the device. The processor can be configured to provide a warning signal when it determines a potential of a collision. A method, a low power radio frequency signal source and a system are provided.

Mobile nodes access SoOP/GNSS to determine location and share navigation and communication information with other users to extend coverage to adjacent nodes. The system also allows disadvantaged users to determine positioning based upon beacon information transmitted without access to GNSS signals.
