    Abstract: This invention relates to an alkaline cleaning composition particularly useful on hard surfaces having a pH greater than 7.5. The cleaning composition comprises a combination of a cationic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant with at least one chelating agent and an alkaline sodium compound, e.g., NaOH, to maintain the aqueous cleaning composition at a pH greater than 7.5.
