Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-tool having a frame with a first leg opposite a second leg. The frame also includes a first handle at a proximal end of the frame, a support at a distal end of the frame, and a second handle positioned between the proximal and distal ends of the frame. The first handle, second handle, and the support are positioned between the first and second legs. A squeegee member is positioned on the first leg, a first brush is positioned on the second leg, and a second brush is positioned on the support. A scraper extends from the support at the distal end of the frame proximate the second brush.

Abstract: A multi-purpose cleaning device is provided that can be used with multiple different types of cleaning attachments. The cleaning device includes a handle that is attachable to a socket device that includes several claw members. The claw members have interior portions that are contoured so that the space between the claw members forms a sphere-shaped socket. The cleaning attachments preferably include a ball portion that can be securely mated within the sphere-shaped socket. When the user prefers three degrees of freedom for the attachment, the ball has impeded rotation within the socket. When the user prefers one degree of freedom for the attachment, the ball also includes a rod or post that can releasably lock the ball to the socket.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a floor mop with a handle and mop head having a base, handle connector, and scrubbing mechanism. The base may include a platen and cleaning pad and is connected to the mop handle through the handle connector. The base may also include an opening for holding the handle connector and scrubbing mechanism. The handle connector houses the components of the scrubbing mechanism, including a scrubbing pad, axle, slide and spring. The scrubbing pad is located on the lower surface of the handle connector. The axle is connected to the base of the mop head and to the slide so that when sufficient downward force is applied to compress the spring, the scrubbing pad moves downward relative to the lower surface of the handle connector so that the scrubbing pad engages the cleaning surface.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dust pan with a handle generally centrally located within the footprint of the dust pan. The handle extends toward the center of gravity of the dust pan to better distribute the weight of the payload during transportation between loading and unloading locations. The dust pan may also incorporate side handles on the upper surface of opposing side walls to provide for enhanced two-handed carrying of heavy loads.

Abstract: A cleaning implement is disclosed which provides a cleaning member rotatably connected to a base member. Attached to the base member is a first cleaning material, while a second cleaning material is attached to the cleaning member. The second cleaning material may be oriented in a different plane than the first cleaning material, allowing differently oriented surfaces to be cleaned. The cleaning member is adapted to rotate relative to the base member to allow the cleaning member to be oriented in a multitude of cleaning configurations. A method of cleaning, utilizing the cleaning implement of the invention, is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cleaning implement comprising a base member having opposing top and bottom surfaces and at least one side surface. A handle is connected to the top surface of the base member and a first cleaning material is attached to the bottom surface of the base member. A cleaning member is rotatably connected to the at least one side surface of the base member and a second cleaning material attached to the cleaning member such that the second cleaning material is oriented in a different plane than the first cleaning material.

Abstract: A toilet brush caddy is provided, includes a unitary one-piece housing, and is capable of supporting a toilet brush. The housing includes a brush receptacle and the toilet brush includes a handle and a cleaning head having a plurality of bristles. The caddy is capable of supporting the toilet brush such that the toilet brush is supported at an angle relative to the vertical, only contacts a front side of the brush receptacle, and the bristles do not contact any other portion of the brush receptacle when the brush is supported by the caddy.

Abstract: A cleaning tool is provided and includes a cleaning head moveable between a plurality of configurations. The cleaning head may include a main panel, a handle coupled to the main panel via a universal joint, a first side panel pivotally coupled to a first edge of the main panel, and a second side panel pivotally coupled to a second edge of the main panel opposite the first edge. The cleaning tool may also include two biasing members for biasing the first and second panels toward a flat position and at least one ramp member engageable with a surface to pivot at least one of the first and second side panels upward out of its flat position toward an upward pivoted position. The cleaning tool may further include an actuator for pivoting one or more of the side panels between flat and upward pivoted positions, and a selectively deployable scrubber.

Abstract: A self-wringing cleaning implement including a cleaning assembly equipped with a platen and a compression member constructed and arranged for relative movement. The cleaning assembly further includes a cleaning member having an absorbent body and a porous cover releasably securable to the platen. During wringing, relative linear movement between the platen and the compression member compresses the absorbent body to force liquid contained therein through the openings in the porous cover. Conversely, relative linear movement between the platen and the compression member in the opposite direction relieves pressure on the absorbent body whereby the implement is configured to resume cleaning of a surface. The implement may also include a scrub brush for removing especially stubborn soil from a surface.

Abstract: A fluid dispensing assembly for use with mop-like devices. The assembly adapts to mop-like devices and utilizes a collapsible fluid reservoir pouch preferably contained within a substantially rigid housing. The collapsible fluid reservoir pouch permits fluid dispensing without need for venting. The assembly preferably utilizes one or the other of a fluid conducting needle and a venting needle found in a fluid disbursement fitment of commercially available mop-like devices, but the needles are not used to puncture membranes in a fluid reservoir. Rather, they provide mechanical force to actuate a valve that is used to permit flow of fluid from the fluid reservoir to the fluid disbursement fitment.

Abstract: A multipurpose cleaning implement that permits a user to remove at least one of loose matter, stains and stuck-on debris from floor surfaces. The device includes an elongate handle the lower end of which is connected to a cleaning head that carries cleaning material. In an embodiment, the cleaning head is selectively positionable between a broom/scrubbing position and a mop position. In various embodiments, the implement possesses characteristics of a broom, a scrubbing brush and/or a mop.
