Patents Assigned to Quintiles IMS Incorporated
  • Patent number: 10282433
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, are described, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for managing migration of data. The methods, systems, and apparatus may include actions of enabling a server to operate in different states. Generally, the different states of the server may enable code on client devices to be gradually updated from using data stored in an old database to using data stored in a new database in a different format, while enabling the server to continue responding to requests for data from client devices.

  • Patent number: 10055545
Abstract: Some implementations may provide a computer-assisted method for master data management, the method including: receiving configuration information defining a model of entities, each entity encoding attributes of a prescriber of one or more healthcare products; receiving specification information defining mapping logic, searching logic, and matching logic, and merging logic for processing base entities and related entities of the model; receiving data from more than one source customer databases, the customer database including data encoding prescribers of healthcare products and being maintained by more than one organizations; translating the received data into staging data according to the mapping logic in the received specification information; generating master data by processing the staging data according to the searching logic, matching logic, and merging logic in the received specification information; and synchronizing at least a portion of the master data to at least one of the source customer database

  • Patent number: 9942206
Abstract: A method includes accessing genomic data of from a genomic database; generating, by a processor, a first hash by probabilistically and irreversibly encrypting a first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence, the first hash projecting the first portion into reduced dimensions such that the first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence becomes statistically improbable to recover outside the first processor; generating, by the processor, a first cryptogram by deterministically and reversibly encrypting a second portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence; generating, by the processor, a look-up table by using at least the first cryptogram as a key and the first portion of the genomic data encoding the first genomic sequence as the value, and transmitting data encoding the first hash and the first cryptogram to one or more processors that are different from the first processor.

  • Patent number: 9916590
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for providing analytic services, as well as computer programs encoded on computer storage devices and configured to perform the actions of the methods. One or more processors create an alignment associated with a client, where the alignment organizes data in a database, and where the data in the database comprises prescription information, store information, and product information. A request for a report is received, where the request identifies the client. The requested report is generated based on the alignment, where the report comprises one or more indicators derived from data contained in the database.

  • Patent number: 9886558
Abstract: A system and method for creating a unique alias associated with an individual identified in a health care database such that health care data, and particularly pharmaceutical-related data, can be efficiently gathered and analyzed. The system has a first store for storing at least one record where each record includes a plurality of identification fields which when concatenated uniquely identify an individual, and at least one health care field corresponding to health care data associated with the individual. The system also has a second data store, and a processor. The processor selects a record of the first data store, then selects a subset of the plurality of identification fields within the selected record, and concatenates the selected subset of identification fields. Then the processor stores the concatenated identification fields in a record in the second store with at least one health care field from the selected record of the first data store.

  • Patent number: 9870415
Abstract: The disclosure generally describes computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for handling data access request, including: receiving a request submitted by a user to access data entries stored at a primary data server; determining whether the received request is supported by a fast query service engine, the fast query service engine being different from the primary data server; in response to determining that the received request is supported by the fast query service engine, directing the request to the fast query service engine; receiving query results from the fast query service engine, the query results composed from more than one answer sets maintained in in-memory data store at the fast query service engine, the answer sets the in-memory data-store being synchronized with the primary data server; and providing the query results to the user submitting the request.

  • Patent number: 9760925
Abstract: The disclosure generally describes computer-implemented methods, software, and systems for rating and ranking stakeholders in the distribution of controlled substances. One computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a computer system, retail prescription data, encrypted patient data, reference prescriber data, and pharmaceutical purchase data. For a retail outlet included in the received data, the method includes aggregating the received data and determining information about sales of a pharmaceutical product associated with the retail outlet. The method further includes rating the retail outlet based on the aggregated information.
