Abstract: A process and a system for forming of a workpiece using a press including a pressure generator, a forming tool, and an at least in part elastically deformable element, are disclosed. At least one of the workpiece or the forming tool is heated, and the workpiece is formed using the press so as to obtain a formed workpiece. The heating of at least one of the workpiece or the forming tool is such that the temperature of the at least one of the workpiece or the forming tool during the forming of the workpiece by way of forming pressure generated by the pressure generator is higher than the ambient temperature.

Abstract: A pressing arrangement (100) is disclosed. The pressing arrangement (100) comprises a pressure vessel (2) and a furnace chamber (18) arranged within the pressure vessel (2). The furnace chamber (18) is at least partly enclosed by a heat insulated casing (6, 5 7, 8) and arranged so that pressure medium can enter and exit the furnace chamber (18). The pressing arrangement (100) comprises a plurality of pressure medium guiding passages (10, 11) in fluid communication with the furnace chamber (18) and arranged to form an outer cooling loop within the pressure vessel (2). The pressing arrangement (100) comprises a heat absorbing element (20) which is arranged within the pressure vessel (2) and which is 10 configured to absorb heat from pressure medium having exited the furnace chamber (18).

Abstract: A pressing arrangement for treatment of articles by hot pressing includes a pressure vessel including a furnace chamber and a furnace to hold the articles. A fan circulates a pressure medium within the furnace chamber, and enhances an inner convection loop at a load compartment. The inner convection loop pressure medium has an upward flow through the load compartment, and a downward flow along a peripheral portion of the furnace chamber. A flow generator generates a flow of pressure medium into the load compartment downstream the fan to enhance the inner convection loop. The flow is generated by transporting the pressure medium upwards from a space below a bottom insulating portion and above a bottom end portion, and by injecting the pressure medium into the load compartment downstream the fan to enhance the inner convection loop.
