Abstract: A method and non-transitory computer readable medium for formatting handwritten virtual ink. The method includes receiving handwritten input on an interactive display, the handwritten input including a plurality of strokes; associating a cell of a virtual canvas displayed on the interactive display with the handwritten input; making a determination that the handwritten input does not fit entirely within the cell; making a determination that at least a portion of the handwritten input is within a tolerance area associated with the cell; and applying a cell formatting decision to the portion of the handwritten input within the tolerance area.

Abstract: In general, embodiments of the invention relate to a method for propagating content. The method includes detecting, from a user, an input on a device, interpreting the input to identify a command, and displaying, in response the command, updated content on the device. The method further includes making a determination, based on the command, that content displayed on at least one other device is to be updated. The method further includes, in response to the first determination, generating a command message based at least in part on the command, and transmitting the command message to a workspace management system (WMS), where the at least one other device is operatively connected to the WMS.

Abstract: In general, embodiments of the invention relate to generating thumbnails representing files stored in database or other repository. More specifically, embodiments of the invention are directed to creating snapshots of file content and using the snapshots to generate a thumbnail representation for each file. In addition, embodiments of the invention are directed to resizing thumbnails having thumbnail content from file snapshots, annotating on the thumbnails using an interactive device, and later synchronizing the annotations with the file content.

Abstract: An apparatus having an interactive display configured to display a first navigation user interface (UI) element in a first predetermined area of the interactive display, the first navigation UI element being an indicator for navigating forward one or more pages of the e-presentation, and memory configured to store an e-presentation including a plurality of pages, is disclosed. The apparatus displays a current page of the e-presentation, detects a first input from a user, makes a first determination that the first input initiated in the first predetermined area, in response to the first determination, display a second UI element on the interactive display, wherein the second UI element indicates a page immediately after the current page of the e-presentation, and make a second determination as to whether the first input exceeds a predetermined navigation threshold. When the first input exceeds the predetermined navigation threshold, the second UI element is updated.

Abstract: A system and method for storing data input on an interactive device directly to a removable media device. The method includes detecting connection of a removable media device by an interactive device, authenticating the removable media device using an identification device operatively connected to the removable media device, upon authentication of the removable media device and when a session exists on the interactive device, determining whether a user of the removable media device is a same user of the session, when the user of the removable media device is the same user of the session, automatically copying stroke data on the interactive device to the removable media device, and upon authentication of the removable media device and when a session does not exist on the interactive device, creating a new session associated with the user of the removable media device, and performing an insertion default action.

Abstract: A vertical docking apparatus (VDA) includes a back panel assembly with at least a first device docking hook (DDH) and a first panel mounting cavity. Abstract: In general, embodiments of the invention relate to an apparatus for housing and (re)charging one or two mobile computing device(s). More specifically, in one or more embodiments of the invention, the apparatus includes an inductive (re)charging element, which generates direct current (DC) when proximal to external power sources extending electromagnetic (EM) fields. The generated DC may then be disseminated, through a physical connection, towards (re)charging the one or two mobile computing device(s) and/or a backup battery. Subsequently, the battery provides DC, that had been stored, to (re)charge the one or two mobile computing device(s) whenever the apparatus is not proximal to an EM field inducing external power source.

Abstract: An apparatus for housing and recharging a stylus (or stylus pen). The apparatus includes an elastic deformable holding sleeve which facilitates the placing and extraction of a stylus secured within a lumen of the apparatus. The stylus is further secured within the apparatus via magnetism. The method includes detecting a local modification on a device, wherein the local modification is associated with a portion of a locally stored copy of a virtual canvas, wherein the portion of the locally stored copy of the virtual canvas is displayed on the device at a device-scale level, converting the local modification to a second local modification by scaling the local modification from the device-scale level to a system-scale level, updating, using the second local modification, the locally stored copy of the virtual canvas, generating a first update message comprising the second local modification, and transmitting the first update message to a workspace management system.

Abstract: A method and system for facilitating the communication between two or more devices, using a primary device, a secondary device, a relay server, and/or a bridge server. The method includes receiving, by a primary device, a primary token encoded with information to generate a primary URL and a secondary token encoded with information to generate a secondary URL, generating the primary URL from the primary token and the secondary URL from the secondary token, generating an optical label comprising information used to generate the secondary URL, and displaying the optical label to the secondary device. Abstract: An apparatus, system, and cluster for vertically docking interactive devices. The apparatus includes a pair of device docking hooks (DDHs), which temporarily couple to and secure an interactive device onto a vertical surface. In addition to the apparatus, the system may include one or more device locking mount(s) (DLMs) coupled to the interactive device, which further secures the interactive device to a static vertical surface. The coupling between each of the one or more DLM(s) and the interactive device may take the form of, for example, a magnetic attachment, a hook and loop fabric attachment, a spring loaded hook, a simple gravity induced friction attachment (e.g., a resting pad), etc. Alternatively, in addition to the apparatus, the system may include a device locking apparatus (DLA), which when engaged may further secure the interactive device to an articulating vertical surface.
