Abstract: A light assembly for photography/videography having a housing and a U-shaped light frame at a front of the housing. A PCB is located in the U-shaped frame and a plurality of LEDs/lighting elements are mounted thereon. A filter or diffuser is mounted to a front of the U-shaped light frame. A power source in the housing is connected to a driver circuit for the LEDs/light source, and the driver circuit is electrically connected to the PCB. Two length-adjustable support arms are connected between the housing and the base. An adjustable clamp is located on the housing to retain a mounting plate with attached camera in a position such that the camera lens is aligned between the two legs and above the base and is adjustable toward and away from the U-shaped light frame via the two length-adjustable support arms. A smart phone bracket is also connectable to the light assembly.
