Abstract: The invention provides a method for manufacturing a glue laminated wood material in which wrinkles do not occur even in the case of press molded material. In a glue lamination step in which five or more wood sheets are layered in a layer structure and integrated into a single body with glue, layering in a layer structure is performed in a state such that a grain direction is the same for at least the top two and the bottom two of the wood sheets 1, and the grain direction of one of the wood sheets 2 in the middle is approximately orthogonal to the grain direction of the respective upper and lower two or more wood sheets.
