Abstract: A ball retriever includes a basket and an elongate arm. The basket has a bottom, a sidewall, and an open top. The bottom of the basket has an aperture therethrough sized smaller than a ball to be retrieved. At least a portion of the bottom proximate the aperture is deformable to allow passage of the ball to be retrieved through the aperture when deformed and returning to the non-deformed position to retain the ball within the basket. The elongate arm is fixed to the basket at a first end.
