  • Patent number: 5769349
Abstract: The cable (2), at one extremity of which the connector is fixed, is wound onto the largest portion of the periphery of the drum (6) and is fixed at its other extremity to an arm (12) pivoting around the spin axis (7) of the drum (6). The spring returning the drum (6) clockwise is stronger than the one returning the arm (12) in the same direction. The pivoting arm (12) is housed in a cell (11) of the drum (6) and bears an articulated angle lever (17) whose extremity (18) is engaged in a notch (22) of the drum (6). A continuous traction ensures the full withdrawing of the cable, the drum then being kept in the corresponding "reinforced" position by the ratchet (24). At the time of disconnection, a new slight traction applied to the cable provokes the automatic disengagement of the ratchet (24) and the effective lowering of the cable (2).

  • Patent number: 5133462
Abstract: The fixing device includes parallel slides 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d constituted by double folds of flexible thin curtains disposed opposite one another. Each slide is made up of two lips 2a, 3a, 2b, 3b, 2c and 3c which are able to receive cards 14a, 14b and 14c by sliding. Between the sldies 1a and 1b, the curtain has an arced shape and bears tie rods 6 so that any traction applied to these tie rods 6 flattens the arc-shaped section of the curtain 1, thus pushing back the lip 2a towards the lip 3a and the lip 2b towards the lip 3b. Thus, clamping of the cards 14a and 14b is respectively obtained in the slides 1a and 1b.The invention is applicable to the fixing of printed cards in housings, particularly on board space and aeronautical vehicles.

  • Patent number: 4870885
Abstract: A device is provided for carrying and releasing a load such as a missile, comprising front and rear rails for supporting respectively front and rear lugs of the load. The rails are joined together by rigid elements so as to form a mobile assembly which may move along longitudinal slides of the carrier member. This latter has fixed stops and retractable stops which cooperate with the load for preventing any translational movement thereof in the carrying position. The movement of the mobile assembly in its slides frees the load from the rails so that it may be released.

  • Patent number: 4754686
Abstract: A device for retaining or releasing a wire for arming projectile fuses is provided, including a hook which retains the ring of the arming wire when the electromagnet acts, against the return action of a spring, through the mobile armature connected to the lever oscillating about the shaft. A catch pivoting about said shaft may engage by its end, a bearing face of said hook so as to maintain this latter in a position retaining said ring. A finger is carried by said lever and abuts against said catch, in the direction which frees this latter from the bearing face of the hook, when the lever is returned by said spring in the case of inaction of the electromagnet. A spring maintains the catch in contact with said finger.

  • Patent number: 4318561
Abstract: A device for suspending and wedging loads under aircraft ensures, through a central control, the wedging of a load carried under an aircraft at a level determined by a pair of suspension hooks subjected to balanced stresses. The central control is obtained by sleeves which slide vertically under the action of rotary shafts and bevel-tooth gears, the vertical translation of these sleeves ensuring the downward movement of parts of bearings engaging the load.

  • Patent number: 4313582
Abstract: This device with independent hooks and automatic locking mechanism for hooking loads suspended under aircraft comprises an effort scaling-down device associated with each hook, mechanisms for coupling the two scaling-down mechanisms with each other, and the detent-positioning of this coupling mechanism through the medium of a third common scaling-down device. Thus, the preliminary manual cocking, i.e. the detent-positioning of the coupling, provides at the same time the simultaneous resetting of the first pair of effort scaling-down mechanisms associated therewith, so that the suspension hooks are free with respect to the retaining mechanism and can pivot to their closed position independently of each other under the action of the load suspension rings when the load is fixed in position, the third scaling-down device further assisting in reducing the efforts exerted on the common retaining pawl, the raising of this common pawl being necessarily attended by the simultaneous opening of the hook.
