Abstract: The cylinder lock comprises blocking tumblers which are guided parallel to the broad sides of the key channel. On the broad sides (13, 14) of the flat key (2) guide grooves (15, 16) are disposed which cooperate with carriers on the blocking tumblers. The grooves (15, 16) on the key (2) comprise several function regions, wherein a subregion (51) of the groove comprises an expanded groove width. The tumblers whose carriers engage these expanded groove regions (51) are equipped with additional positioning elements. This configuration prevents the unauthorized opening of a lock according to the invention with a key (2) with duplicated guide grooves (15, 16).
Abstract: An electromechanical cylinder lock (1) is connected with a key (2 l) which has electronic and mechanical codings. In the lock (1) are arranged and connected with each other electronic elements (55), a microswitch (56) and an electric coil (11) with a magnet anchor (12). The magnet anchor (12) is part of the blocking device (6) which, through a release bolt (13) and a holding pin (15), engages in the rotor (5) of the lock (1). Parallel with the release bolt (13) is arranged a blocking bolt (14) which engages, at one end, in the rotor (5), and at the other end, in the magnet anchor (12). For the opening of the lock, besides the mechanical blocking elements, the microswitch (56), the release bolt (13), the magnet anchor (12) and the blocking bolt (14) must also be brought into their correct positions.
Abstract: A flat turning key (2) has a mechanically coded key bit (7) and an additional electronic information carrier (9), as well as a contact part (12) with contact points (8) located at the rear part of the key bit (7). In the cylinder lock (1) are arranged further electronic components (41) connected with a current source that cooperate with the information carrier (9) via the contact points (8) on the key (2). In the region of the contact part (12) of the cylinder lock (1) contact elements (55) arranged in a guiding element (50) establish an electric contact between the key (2) and the lock (1) when the key (2) is turned in the lock (1). The contact elements (55), the electronic components (41) and a microswitch (42) are connected with a common support or printed circuitboard (14) and detachably secured together with the guiding element (50) in the stator housing (3).
Abstract: A key for a safety lock having two grooves on each flat side with pairs of identical grooves being located symmetrically opposed about the central axis of the key profile. The grooves (2,3) and the tumbler cams are fashioned in pairs with different dimensions, for the purpose of increasing the number of possible combinations. Thus, both the width and/or depth of a groove may be constant or variable.
