  • Patent number: 11481370
Abstract: The disclosure is related to a system for storing and managing hierarchical relationships in a data set. The data set has a plurality of nodes, including root nodes having trees and subtrees, the tree and subtrees including parent, sibling, and child nodes. Each node in the data set has bound values and the bound values of the root nodes are fixed and of equal width. The system further includes processor on a server constructed and arranged to execute a series of steps for optimizing the data set. The processor constructed and arranged to recalculate bound values for updated nodes, sibling nodes and associated subtrees when nodes are updated.

  • Patent number: 7438144
Abstract: For power purposes, an electrically-powered autonomous vehicle requires a mass and/or a significant volume of batteries, the batteries being supported by an independent chassis (4). The independent chassis is designed to be received in a housing (3) which is defined under the chassis of the vehicle and which is provided with at least one wheel (5)-equipped axle. Each of the chassis includes a connection interface, each including the complementary male and female parts of at least one centering member (15) and of at least one socket member (16). The vehicle chassis-side interface has a plate (10) which is independent of the chassis and which is connected to same at least three points, namely: two points which are controlled by jacks (12) and a third point which takes the form of a ball joint.

  • Patent number: 4944977
Abstract: A friction welded part having a sealed flash trap is disclosed, along with a method for producing such parts. The friction welded parts have a hollow cylindrical part and a second part to which the hollow cylindrical part is friction welded. There is an internal flash trap in the region of the weld, and the hollow cylindrical part is pinched inwardly or a conical flange on the flash trap is deformed outwardly so as to seal the flash collecting portions of the flash trap from the hollow portion of the hollow cylindrical part remote from the weld. The method involves the conventional steps of rotating the parts with respect to each other under pressure, stopping the rotation, and exerting high pressure to form the weld. In accordance with the invention, the hollow cylindrical part in the region adjacent the flash trap is then forced inwardly or a flange on the flash trap is forced outwardly so as to effect the seal.
