  • Patent number: 10482186
Abstract: The present relates to a method for automatically determining a finishing recipe of a manufactured component. A non-finished 3D model, consisting in a 3D representation of the manufactured component at a non-finished stage, is received at a computer. And a finished 3D model, consisting in a 3D representation of the manufactured component at a finished stage, is received. The non-finished 3D model and the finished 3D model are further processed, to calculate a finishing recipe of one or more tool(s), The tool performs a finishing operation according to the finishing recipe on the manufactured component at the non-finished stage, to obtain the manufactured component at the finished stage. The finishing recipe may include a trajectory of the tool(s), an operational parameter(s) of the tool(s). The manufactured component may consist in a blade. The finishing operation may consist in profiling, polishing, tri-blending, weld blending, twist and bow.

  • Patent number: 9346145
Abstract: The present relates to an apparatus and method for blending added material with base material on manufactured components. The apparatus comprises an abrasive device having an abrasive surface for removing exceeding added material, and a guide fixed to the abrasive device. The method determines a trajectory of the abrasive surface with respect to a manufactured component: determines which of a plurality of contact points of the guide shall be in contact with the manufactured component along the trajectory; actuates the abrasive device; and controls position and angle of the abrasive surface en the manufactured component along the trajectory, while keeping the determined contact point in contact with the manufactured component. A force is applied to the abrasive device when the abrasive surface is in contact with the manufactured component and transferred when the guide gets in contact with the base material.

  • Patent number: 6135539
Abstract: A towable recreational vehicle includes main living quarters having solid side and end walls with panels pivotably mounted on each of the end walls supported by removable light weight support rods engaging sockets on the end walls and on the vehicle frame. A flexible fabric enclosure is supported on a frame carried by the panels which includes a removable component which may be snapped out of a socket in the main living quarters and stored when the panels are folded to the closed position. A mattress includes portions supported on the panel and on a shelf within the unit, the portion on the shelf being flipped over to rest on the panel and secured in place before the panel is closed against the unit. Accordingly, auxiliary living space is provided by unfolding the panels from the main living quarters, but the panels may be easily closed when the unit is moved.
