    Abstract: The present pull-type snow blower attachment comprises a housing, a auger and a snow blowing fan arrangement. The housing defines a longitudinally curved surface between two walls. A hitch protrudes away from the surface and is adapted for attachment behind a vehicle. The auger is rotatably secured to the walls of the housing. The auger defines two opposite sections and a middle section therebetween. Each opposite section is equipped with a spiral blade angled towards the middle section, and the middle section is equipped with at least two blades for lifting snow. The snow blowing fan arrangement includes a fan and a chute section above the fan. The fan is between the auger and the hitch. The fan is adapted for receiving snow lifted by the at least two blades of the auger and pushing the snow through the chute section.

The second extremity has a plurality of teeth along a circumference thereof, wherein subsequent teeth are separated from one another by a gap, and each of the teeth has a base narrower than its top. When the PTO coupler is engaged to a corresponding receiving coupler, the interlocking of the plurality of teeth and gaps counteract axial load generated during operation of the PTO coupler.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a threshold selector that selects a threshold by generating a histogram from a detector signal and a flow cytometer. The detector signal includes both data and noise. A histogram is generated, which includes height data from the pulses of the detector signal as well as noise. The flow cytometer can be operated without samples to generate a histogram that includes only noise. The threshold signal can then be selected by selecting an intensity level on the histogram that is between the noise and data.

The auger is rotationally mounted to the frame, and is adapted for collecting snow. The fan is mounted upon the frame, behind the auger, and evacuates the collected snow in the rotating drum. The hydraulic system rotates the rotating drum with respect to the frame. The rotating drum defines a pair of teeth about a circumference thereof. The securing mechanism is affixed to the frame, and includes on one extremity a pair of complementary circular cams, and on a second extremity a pressure mechanism for applying pressure on the pair of complementary circular cams to keep the pair of complementary circular cams engaged.
