Abstract: A children's stake wagon having a horizontally disposed surface for supporting a child in the wagon, and surrounding front, rear and side walls. These walls define openings in their top edges which provide access to pockets formed in the respective walls. Stakes form upwardly extending side, front and rear wall extensions having legs removably received in these pockets. The extensions preferably comprise a plurality of horizontally disposed spaced-apart rail sections. Vertically extending spaced-apart sections include upper portions interconnecting the respective rails and lower portions defining the legs receivable within the pockets. Additional legs have hooked ends receivable within additional pockets to hold the stakes in position on the wagon.

Abstract: The convertible wagon of the invention includes a handle that can be pivotably attached to a latch assembly on the front of the wagon body or can be snapped in an upright position into a locking assembly on the back wall of the wagon. The wagon can be pulled when the handle is attached to the latch assembly and can be pushed when the handle is snapped into the locking assembly. A removable panel separates passenger and storage compartments within the wagon body.

Abstract: A child's tricycle comprising a pair of rear wheels, a front wheel, a seat positioned between the front and rear wheels, a support for the seat extending between the front and rear wheels, a handle for steering, and a steering fork having an upper end for supporting the handle and a bifurcated lower end for supporting the front wheel. A one-piece crank extends through the front wheel and defines outer ends disposed on opposite sides of the front wheel for holding pedals whereby a child can propel the tricycle by applying foot pressure to the pedals to thereby turn the crank and associated front wheel. A driving connection between the crank and front wheel is provided by a centrally located bend in the crank, and a centrally located opening defined by the front wheel snugly receiving the bend. A head tube is eliminated by using a steering fork and steering wheel telescoping combination which extends through vertically-aligned openings in the tubular support extending longitudinally of the tricycle.

Abstract: The side extension of the invention includes first and second extension wall portions each circumscribing one-half of the area defined by the upstanding walls of the wagon body. The side extensions have a groove which is engaged by a lip extending from and disposed substantially perpendicular to the upstanding walls. The first and second extension wall portions have coupling elements formed at each end thereof which are secured to one another by bolts to lock the side extension on the wagon. The side extension when mounted on the wagon extends beyond the upstanding walls of the wagon body to increase the depth of the passenger department.
