    Abstract: A method as system for determining movement of a vehicle by measuring one or more output signals indicative of acceleration of the vehicle along an axis output from one or more accelerometers installed in the vehicle and processing the output signals to produce movement data characterising the movement of the vehicle. The movement data is used to determine whether one or more predetermined movements of the vehicle has occurred.
