    Abstract: A safety selector for selectively implementing a firing disabled position for the prevention of unintentional firing of a firearm. The safety selector comprises two prongs adapted to push a cross bolt safety actuation lever to the right or to the left. A DC electrical motor provides torque, which is transferred through a torque transferring mechanism, to the safety selector. The safety selector is particularly useful for actuation via remote control.
