Abstract: This invention provides a process for applying a stain on a sheet of polyvinylbutyrate comprising contacting specific zones of the sheet of polyvinylbutyrate with a bath comprising water and a synthetic, organic stain; removing the sheet from the bath after a suitable time of contact; and washing the sheet thoroughly.
