The raised iron sight assembly includes a raised iron sight portion with a base portion, a neck extending from the base portion, and a sight portion. The base portion includes at least one recoil lug configured to straddle at least one recoil groove on a firearm rail system. The raised iron sight assembly includes a latch portion configured to selectively attach to the raised iron sight portion.

The front end and the rear end each includes at least one aperture extending through the top side to the opposed bottom side of the elongated body. The panel also includes a gripped surface on the top side of the elongated body and a slot extending through the top side to the opposed bottom side. The slot is configured to receive a firearm accessory.

An aperture extends through the firearm accessory. A fastener is positionable through the aperture in the firearm accessory, the aperture in the main body, and the slot in the first rail system or the slot in the second rail system. A nut is attachable to the fastener to secure the firearm accessory to the first rail system or the second rail system.
