Abstract: A movable trash container cleaning system includes a vehicle with a spray booth and a movable access door for enclosing the spray booth. A manipulating arm is provided for engaging and lifting a container disposed outside a vehicle and inverting a container inside the spray booth. A sprayer is provided and disposed for spraying the fluid onto inside surfaces of the inverted container to clean the container and dislodge the solids. A stationary platform is provided for receiving the dislodge solids wash from the inverted container and the ram packer moves to dislodge the solids from the platform into a storage chamber in the vehicle.

Abstract: An articulated lift aim assembly for a refuse receptacle generally includes an engaging device for releasably grasping the receptacle, an extendable boom along with an articulated arm mechanism interconnecting the book and the engaging device. A gear arrangement provides for coupling the boom and the arm for raising the arm mechanism with respect to the boom, rotating the arm mechanism with respect to the boom during raising of the arm mechanism and inverting the engaging device and receptacle during raising of the arm mechanism. A gravity operated hook is provided for latching the receptacle when the receptacle is inverted to prevent undesired release from the engaging device.

Abstract: Apparatus for the pyrolysis of solid waste material includes a thermal reactor including an elongate hollow housing with a reaction chamber disposed within the housing. The thermal reactor is vertically oriented in order to cause solid waste material fed thereinto to pass through said reaction chamber by the force of gravity and a plurality of vanes are disposed for both conducting heat into said reactor chamber and for tumbling said solid waste material as said solid waste material passes through said reaction chamber. Inlets and outlets are provided for passing oxygen transversely through the reaction chamber.
