    Abstract: The degree of tightness, which a wheel is attached to the wheel of an automobile, may be varied by selectively engaging the ends of a retention ring in a specially formed retention tab ring supporter. The retention ring is supported on a plurality of circumferentially spaced ring supports provided on the wheel cover, and the ends of the ring are retained by the retention tab ring supporter. The retention tab is provided with an opening to receive a blunt end of the retaining ring and two adjacent vertical slots for receiving a finger end of the retaining ring. Selection of either of the two vertical slots for receiving the finger end varies the practical diameter of the retention ring when engaged with the ring supporters thereby providing and adjustment in tightness between the wheel cover and the wheel.

    Abstract: The invention is a power inverter having a heat dissipating assembly. A heat sink plate is supported on the printed circuit board in a spaced configuration so that a space exists between the heat sink plate and the outer housing. The printed circuit board assembly includes mosfets inserted into the printed circuit board and electrically connected thereto. The heat sink plate abuts against a first side of the mosfets at an upper end of the mosfets to directly absorb heat from the mosfets. The exterior surface of the housing is provided with a plurality of heat dissipating fins to further enable heat dissipation.

    Abstract: A portable battery booster supply having a wireless remote control activation device. The hand held battery booster has connecting jumpers adapted to be connected to the battery posts of a vehicle battery. The booster includes a rechargeable battery contained within the housing and a means to connect to an adapter charger. The portable booster also contains a receiver/controller for selectively switching/controlling voltage supplied to the positive jumper. A small hand held transmitter produces radio signals, or other electromagnetic signals that communicates with the controller. The transmitter has an on switch and an off switch for selectively sending a transmitting signal to the controller in the portable booster. The controller has a preset code to compare the signals received from the hand held transmitter to selectively activate the positive jumper lead. When an off signal is received the controller operates a switch to open the circuit between the rechargeable batteries and the positive jumper.

    Abstract: A battery jumper cable having a light source which may be activated independently from a connection with a battery to be charged. At least one of the jumper cable connectors includes a voltage source, a switch and a light. Simple activation of the switch will cause the voltage source to illuminate the light thus providing sufficient lighting to identify the polarity of battery posts and establish a proper connection between the connector and battery terminal. In an alternate embodiment, the voltage source is provided from an external booster battery. An electrical connection is established between opposite cables. The switch closes a circuit between the external booster battery and the light thereby providing voltage to the light. The connector may be used as a flashlight to illuminate a connection area without the need for contact with the battery to be charged.

    Abstract: The invention is a universal replacement antenna assembly for replacing an automobile radio antenna. The antenna assembly includes a universal mounting assembly that fits all cars and trucks and facilitates easy antenna installation. An antenna mast connected to a mounting member having a lower body portion and an upper connecting portion. Pivoting rocker arms pivot from a lower end of the mounting member within a range from an upright, closed position to an open position not exceeding ninety degrees from said closed position. A connecting member is mounted on the antenna mast and is movable with respect to the mast and the mounting member and is connectable with the connecting portion of the mounting member. During installation of the antenna assembly the mounting member and the rocker arms are inserted through a hole in the mounting surface with the rocker arms in the closed position and the connecting member is moved downward and connected to the connecting portion of the mounting member.
