    Abstract: The pushrod incorporates an upper threaded retractable section which enables the technician to shorten the pushrod to nine inches. At the shortened length, the pushrods can be removed from the side of the engine without dismantling the upper rocker box assembly, which would also enable the motorcycle repair technician to adjust the length of the pushrods to ensure proper and quiet hydraulic lifter operation.
