    Abstract: A direct coupled linear transistorized amplifier in which transistors function as switches rather than as semilinear amplifying devices; this is effected by comparing a negative feedback signal with the input signal and utilizing the sense of the resultant error signal to apply power-supply voltage to the load in the direction which tends to minimize this error signal. In the most preferred embodiment, the output switching is performed in push-pull manner.
