    Abstract: A portable metronome is provided for assisting medical resuscitations, including cardiopulmonary and cardiocerebral resuscitations. The metronome includes a user interface having a plurality of criteria selection buttons, which when selected, can alter the resuscitation sequence to be generated. Resuscitation sequence prompts can include both audible and visual prompts. The sequence generation is at least in part based upon medically accepted resuscitation guidelines.
